IMPORTANT. In order to go through the Production routine the following pre-conditions should be observed:

• The System Parameters for the Production module and Basic Data of ProdMaster (the minimum necessary set of Calendars, Production Cells, Inventory Addresses, Scrap Reasons etc.) should be prepared in accordance with Company dependent business requirements.
• The Product Structures should be created for each Inventory Part (either final product or semi-products) that should be produced by own manufacturing resources. At least one Product Structure Modification and valid Version with "Approved" Status should exist before creation of Production Order for corresponding Part.
• If optional possibility to manage manufacturing process by technological operations should be used, then the corresponding Routing per Operations should be created for each unique technological process and assigned to the proper Product Structure. At least one valid Routing Version with "Approved" Status should exist before creation of Production Order for corresponding Part. In order to describe correctly Operations in the Routing, the corresponding Basic Data (set of Calendars, Work Cells, Resources etc.) should be prepared in accordance with available technological equipment and actual manufacturing staff.
